Scarlet and Justine

Just have to tell you about Scarlet and her daughter. We met with them this evening. What a wonderful woman. She has worked in the nursing field for 23 years mostly in a care center. She tells how she loves helping people. Many of them are so mentally damaged because of years of using alcohol that they don't even remember what a toothbrush is for. She has been reading the Book of Mormon and has been praying about it as well as praying about baptism. I could really feel the spirit when she offered to say the prayer before we left. Such a humble prayer. She said she would be willing to come to church Sunday. Hopefully she and her young daughter will show up. We will be anxiously waiting at the door along with the young elders to greet her. Pray for good Sacrament meeting speakers. We hope she will stay for the Baptism of two new investigators after church, one man named John a refugee from Africa and a young boy 8 years old. Scarlet deserves the blessing that the gospel would bring her. She told us that she has given so much for years to all the people she serves and that now she feels like she is being repaid. WOW what a spirit!!!
