Happy Thanksgiving

Here's wishing all of you a Happy Thanksgiving. We had a great Thanksgiving feast last Friday at the Mission Home in Brussels with 9 other Senior Couples. We were each assigned to bring part of the meal to make it easier for President and Sister Brubaker. We were able to spend the night in the Mission Home that evening along with two other couples so we would not have to drive the long four hour trip back in the dark. We actually live the farthest away from headquarters. Tomorrow we have the Oppermans coming for another American Thanksgiving dinner here. Their children live in the U.S. and Canada so they are familiar with all the traditional dishes served on Turkey day. Hopefully I will have plenty of leftovers for the Elders when they show up on Friday.
I do not have enough space in this blog to list all the things we are grateful for but I hope you all know that family, friends and home are at the top of the list. We really are thankful to be able to serve here in Europe at this time and will never be able to repay all the blessings our family has received. Hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving as well.
