How in the world do you pack 2 years of "stuff" into 2 suitcases? My shoes alone could take one by itself. So much for having a pair for each outfit. I have even resigned myself to the fact that I CAN live with just one purse. (Boooooooring) The hardest thing for hubby is not being able to take all of his thousands of books. My son advised us to "take twice the money and half the stuff" The value of the dollar will make it impossible to have fun shopping when we get there though, who wants to pay 50% more for everything we need, remember I am the bargain queen.
Some airlines are now starting to charge for every bag you lug onto their precious plane. Hopefully they will toss us a bag of stale tasteless crackers every couple of hours of so. I guess we could stick our heads into the small bathroom sink to get a drink of water. My daughter R. told me that the last time they traveled they were able to buy a snack of tuna and crackers for $5 Thanks but no thanks.
