Brother & Sister Wouters

We visited with Brother and Sister Wouters again today and we could not have felt more welcome.
We talked about everything from chocolate to computers. Sister Wouters comes from a family of ten children, who's Father was very strict, she told us that when he was home the children never made a sound and as soon as he went to the outhouse or off to work the noise would start up. He worked on the docks and was a pretty rough character. They are basically simple hard working folks. She could not even read when they got married but has learned along the way. She showed me the Belgium lace that she used to make by tossing spools of thread. It is very intricate and time consuming and has become a lost art. They told us we could come back to visit any time and we will do that as long as they let us.
