We found this old farm one day while just driving around Merksem. I love all the old buildings here. This one has the date 1716 on it and when I asked a local if that was correct she told us that yes it really is that old. She does not look old enough to remember that far back but I will take her word for it. She has offered to take us around Merksem to show us all the old sites. I love going through old cemeteries and church yards. We are just waiting for the town to thaw before we attempt it.
