Squeeze that sponge

My thought for the day: We are all like sponges. All colors of the rainbow and we soak up everything we hear, see and experience. Mostly just plain clear clean water. Once in a while we pick up a little bit or dirty water and when we try to squeeze out the dirt, it just does not come out that easily or all at once. It takes a lot of clean water to flush out the dirt. So.... why pick up the dirty water in the first place? It usually happens when we are not looking, but sometimes we see it coming and we are not smart enough or fast enough to avoid it. Some of us are just plain stupid or too lazy. So.... next time don't get anywhere near that dark stuff. It takes way too much time and trouble to squeeze it all out, and way too painful when you get old. Oh, and if you do get into it, don't let it stay too long or dry out because it may never come out.
