O.K. so I am only dreaming of a white Christmas even though I know we won't have one here. We were actually expecting snow today but it sailed right past us. Last year we only saw about an inch the whole winter and that vanished within a few hours.
I have always loved Christmas time, and the world becomes a magical place when it snows. When our children were little Ben would take vacation time between Christmas and New Year and I loved it when we actually got "snowed in" Watching that fluffy white stuff float past the window as we were sitting in front of a fire always made the problems of the world just melt away.
The snow may not make an appearance but I know the spirit of Christmas can still be felt even on the other side of the world. We have many friends here who will not be spending the time with family so we are attempting to make their Holiday a little brighter. No one should be alone for Christmas.
Please remember your loved ones where ever they may be and please don't forget those serving all over the world either on missions or in the military, who need it the most. May the true spirit of Christmas warm you all during this special time. Merry CHRISTmas.....
