We have been very busy trying to get an apartment ready in Leeuwarden for the new Sisters moving in this week. The mission actually rented the apartment we had on our first mission so this is like going down memory lane for us.
There was so much for us to do that we had to ask the Elders to come and help us set up all the IKEA furniture. They were like little boys playing with Legos. It was fun to watch them being so excited about doing something with their hands instead of their regular routine. This too is part of being a missionary. We have some great young men here and they were more than willing to help. They did ask us to try and persuade our Mission President into letting them move in there instead of the Sisters because the place is much newer than theirs and the view from the balcony is unbelievable. We loved watching the boats coming through and waiting for the bridge to open up.
