A powerful day

Sunday was amazing. I don't think I have felt the spirit more while giving a lesson than I did Sunday. There were only 8 of us around the table in Relief Society but it felt like the whole room glowed. The lesson was about Temple work and it seemed like my brain was clearer than it had ever been while teaching in Dutch. For some reason the words just came out right. It really helps when the sisters in attendance are in tune as well.

A friend back in Antwerp insisted that I read a book that she just loved and she thought I would also. I have been reading every chance I get and now I am even dreaming in Dutch. When I talk to myself I speak Dutch. Now how weird is that?

Well it finally happened, the sisters here actually have enrichment night and I will be teaching a lace painting class Friday night. I will also be teaching the technique to Lyudmila on Thursday. I hope I can talk her into getting on her scooter and coming on Friday night. She really needs the companionship of the sisters. Living out in the middle of no where has been very difficult for her. She gets so lonely.

On a side note. I wondered why Lyudmile spells her last name as Yevmenova and her husbands as Yevmenov? She told me that women in Russia add an "a" to the husbands last name to make it feminine. So now I know

I am excited for your lace class. It will be good for you to paint again.
