You could not pay me enough $$$ to do this job.

You could not pay me enough money to do this job so it's a good thing we get paid in blessings. We have really seen the blessings since starting to serve this mission. Actually our whole family has. We have probably received more than our share. One of the amazing things is that we actually have had enough energy to do the things we need to do. Sometimes we just fall into bed at night wondering how we made it through the day. We have had different challenges here in Leeuwarden than we had in Antwerp. The people here seem more humble and willing to serve so that has really been a plus. We just wish there were more of them to carry the load. It has been difficult for this small group to do it all but they do receive the blessings because of their dedication and service.

We made it down to Brussels and back yesterday and it was a long trip. We are really racking up the kilometers on our little car but it has behaved well. We are now legal for another year in Belgium. Now we just have to deal with the Netherlands. A bit more pricey but just one of the procedures in order to stay here.

I think winter is trying to creep into this part of the world. Today we have had wind and rain beyond belief. Even my geraniums got blown over this morning. It can really blow way up here at the top of our apartment building. It just rained sideways most of the day. Funny thing is, it stopped when ever we had to go outside just long enough for us to make it indoors or in the car. I know just coincidences right?
