Here is a prime example of how to use the Bible in normal everyday living:
A couple of home teachers went visiting one afternoon. They knocked on one door several times, but no one answered. They could see through the window that the TV was on, so one of them took a card and wrote. "Revelations 3:20" on it and stuck it in the door.
(Revelations 3:20 says, "Behold, I stand at the door and knock, if anyone will open, I will come in")
The following Sunday a woman handed one of the home teachers a card with her name and following scripture. "Genesis 3:10"
(Genesis 3:10 says, "I heard thy voice and I was naked, so I hid myself")
