Ben's school days

I ran into these pictures of Ben in school in Rotterdam a long long time ago.

 He's the cute kid with glasses on the back row third from the right.

Here he is sitting just at the teacher's left elbow.

Funny how he is on the back row both times.  Now he insists on sitting up front so that he won't miss anything the instructor has to say.   Maybe he had no choice then.  He has always hungered for knowledge and probably always will.  I have been the beneficiary of a lot of it.
