We are not serving this mission alone.

In the foyer of our church building back home, there is a display case with plaques of members of the ward who are out serving missions.  I think the case should be much larger. The names and pictures of those individuals who are helping the missionaries should be placed there as well.

We could never peacefully fulfill our mission without the help of those back home who are holding down the fort.  Our furnace decided to give up and thanks to an alert, and dedicated  home teacher as well as a fantastic neighbor our furnace is again running smoothly and the pipes are out of danger of freezing and bursting.  We can only imagine the mess we would have had if our pipes would have frozen.  Loosing furnishings is one thing but if Ben's library had been under water, that would really have been a tragedy .

I wonder if everyone back home including our family realize the huge part they are playing in us being able to serve the Lord in this far away place.   It takes a whole family and a whole ward to make this mission a success.  We will be eternally grateful for all the support we are receiving.  Thank You, Thank You all.
