Success around "this" world

Our Relief Society social ended up being fantastic at least by Netherland standards.
The puzzle was finish just in time for us to go home.

Our younger sisters finished tying the baby quilt and it was fun to see them do something they had never tried before. Our cute investigator Trushna who is from the Island of St. Marten loved this project.

Sjors taught Lioni a new way to knit with her crazy yarn while her proud Mom watched over her.

Even Sister Steinvoorte (on the right) brought her dog Lucky.  He can not be left home alone or he gets lonely.

Sister Brandenburg just wanted to get away for the day and relax with a puzzle.

Alida could not be torn away from the puzzle until the whole thing was completed.

Women here learn how to knit before they go to school from their Mothers and Grandmothers. Klaske is my first counselor and she has been knitting sweaters to send to Romania for years.

Sarah on the left is an American gal who married a Dutch man and she was so grateful to be having an American Relief Society day as it was called yesterday

I should not have worried because everything turned out fine. I was even able to talk a few of the young women into helping me with the clean-up.  I know that comes naturally at  home but here you have to beg for any kind of help.  But hey.....they are catching on.
