Finally

Well it finally happened. When we walked into the Chapel this morning, Sarah and the children were actually there. Sean and Ashley were confirmed. I don't know if Mom will continue to bring them each week but we can only hope and pray. Miracles have been known to happen in the Antwerpen ward and this may be one of them. We had 14 investigators come to church today and that is probably the most we have had since we came here. We have to split up with the Elders because some of the investigators speak Dutch and some English. There is a lot of translating going on but we can usually cover it all.

It has been amazing how we have just blended into this ward. It is as if we have been here for years. You have to remember that the Europeans are not very fond of the Americans because they think we only come to spy on them for Church headquarters and just want to tell them what they are doing wrong, and set them straight. We try to tell them that we are just here to learn and to serve in what ever way we can. I think the fact that we are Dutch ourselves helps. After all we are just as outspoken and stubborn as they are and that is a big plus right now.
