Wouter was confirmed today and given a nice blessing by our Patriarch Bro. Verheyen who has been very supportive of the missionaries along with his sweet wife. They go out of their way to meet the new investigators and to make them feel welcome. Sister Verheyen serves in the primary and is a very dedicated teacher for the young children. Today she made it a point to miss primary to support me in my lesson in Relief Society. Ben and I along with Scarlet and Justine have been invited to dinner in their home on Tuesday and we are really looking forward to it.
My lesson actually turned out O.K. I don't have the accent mastered but I do think we were able to understand each other. Today we talked about the letters Joseph sent to Emma during some of the hardest times in their lives. We got some great comments from the class and the spirit was pretty strong.
On a sad note, Sarah and the children did not show up for church today. They were to be confirmed today during Sacrament Meeting but did not come. We are hoping to get the Father involved so who knows what will happen. It is not up to us.
