It really took a miracle for the baptism to go through. We started late because Sarah and Ashley were not there when we were to begin. Shawn had just hopped on the tram and came on his own. The final word is that the children were finally baptized. Now the hard part will begin. We will have to make sure that the youth leaders step up to the plate and fellowship these kids. We have some great leaders who I think will be able to do just that.
Finding clothes big enough for Wouter was a problem so we found the biggest pair of pants (that could not even zip up) and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up and just wrapped a large towel around him until he got into the water. I think the ward had better invest in some baptism jumpsuits.
