Saturday was a temple day with the branch to do baptisms. We have been trying to pull this together for months but the temple insists that we have a minimum amount of people before they will let us come. Getting enough people in the branch is a big task since we are so small. We finally made it and it was a great day. One of the sisters who is a temple worker came up to us when she noticed our name tags and remembered that she had served on a mission the same time as Ben. She wondered what had happened to him all these years later. Ben remembered her as well. Small world here when it comes to members. It took us 3 hours to get there, 4 hours in the temple and 3 hours to get back home Needless to say we were pretty worn out by the end of the trip.
The Zoetemeer temple is small but beautiful. They are only open Thur. Fri. and Sat half day. They only need about 8 workers there at one time as long as the patrons are willing to pitch in.
The other choices of temples are Switzerland, London or Frankfurt, Germany. Needles to say members have to travel great distances to go.
Just by chance, we saw four members from the Antwerp ward and it was great to spend some time with them.
