Those who know us know that we both love cheese and this country is the best place in the world to be for that delicacy. When we went to the Oppermans for dinner last week I brought the main meal but they did a cheese board after the meal. Basically about 6 kinds of cheeses and crackers on a lazy Susan. Usually a bottle of wine is added but that part of the tradition was left off. I could have skipped the meal and just have gone for the cheese. Wish we could bring some home.

Paul's dad brought home a HUGE hunk of Gouda when he was in the Netherlands last year. It traveled on the airplane just fine. We enjoyed it very much.
Bring on the cheese!
I have since heard that as long as the cheese is totally encased in wax we can take it through customs. We will give it a try. Get out the crackers everyone.
