Every once in a while as we are driving along the country side we can see some beautiful estates hidden in the trees. Saturday we noticed this Castle and I told Ben to slam on the brakes so that I could get a picture. I'm sure the fellow is tired of me wanting to stop around every corner but who knows we may never travel this road again. I wish I could have gotten closer to get a better shot.
This Castle was built in the 15th Century by a wealthy land owner. Through the years it has been taken over by several different families, and now it is a museum. Apparently tours are available at different times of the year so hopefully we will be able to view it up close and see the interior.
