Our newest little grand baby was born and she and mom are doing just fine. Rachel (our baby daughter) and her husband Jeff are the proud parents of their first baby little Ruby Jan. Jeff's mom "Jan" died when he was only 3 years old and I think giving Ruby her name for a middle name is a great tribute. This sweet baby just could not wait to come here so decided to show up two weeks early. She weighs 7lb. 10oz. The doctors say that she is healthy and she is a very content little baby. She looks just like her daddy.
I have to admit that I wish we would have signed up for 18 months instead of 2 years but I'm sure Heavenly Father has a better plan. We will be so happy to meet Jaxon (Debbie and Jeff's little new one) and Ruby when we return which will probably be some time in June.
