Help wanted!

Sometimes I think I can conquer the world only to discover that I am human and need help.  This time in my life the Lord has seen fit to teach me a few lessons.  One lesson is to learn to delegate and let others help me. I have chosen two great counselors to lighten the load.  I will be working very closely with the branch president and will focus mostly on the needs of some of our sisters who are struggling with problems in their lives.  The Relief Society program was designed to not only teach and have cute decorations on the tables at the luncheons but to comfort and help those in need.

I have learned that we can't always do all we need to in our apartment because of our callings and duties in the Jo Vo center so we have hired a sister to come and clean.  Yes... I know you won't believe this but I have finally given in and admitting that I "can't do it all"   One of our Jo Vos is Jaqualine Santos a darling girl who rides with us because she lives in our building.  Her mom is struggling trying to make ends meet raising her children on her own and has been praying for a way to make some extra money to help feed her children.  Jackie is 20. Daniel is 17 and they have a sister Andrea who just turned 19 who is in a wheelchair and needs constant care. She can not do anything for herself.  The Doctors made a mistake right after she was born and as a result she will never be able to function on her own.  There was an older sister who died four years ago at the age of 20 who also had a muscle disease of some kind.  I have asked the Lord to help us find some way to help us deal with our busy schedule  and it came to me this morning to ask Anna to come and help.  We both received answers to our prayers.  The Lord does work in mysterious ways.
