A day of service

This marvelous group of women was very eager to get together for a day of service in Relief Society.  There is really not much of a chance for them to get together just to visit and be productive.  With the branch spread out all over Friesland it is very difficult to really spend time together except on Sundays for meetings and then rush back home.

Leon is our only young woman and loves being around the sisters in Relief Society. She is pretty creative and loves projects.  The beautiful young woman in the middle is Trushna one of our investigators.

We got a lot accomplished while visiting with each other and of course we had to add food into the equation which everyone knows is part of Relief Society all over the world. 

It's great to see a more experienced seamstress share ideas and hints with a younger sister.  We can  all gain so much from each other if we are willing to share and learn while serving.

I am planning on having an activity every month while I am here.  I'm looking for ideas for what we can do so I hope I get inspired along the way.  This type of activity has not been common  here but I am hoping to make it so enjoyable that they will continue it after I am gone.
